When you’re a person of color and you imagine running into a Ku Klux Klan member, having a civil conversation is probably not the first scenario that you would think of. The KKK has been a symbol of hate and oppression since the 1800s so most people would never want to meet a member, let alone befriend one. This wasn’t the case for Daryl Price who met a member during one his shows by chance. After meeting him Price decided to try and bring him to reason through conversation, and was successful. Afterwards he made it a personal mission to bring as many members to reason as he could, which led to 200 members leaving the Ku Klux Klan. His story is an interesting one, and definitely deserves a listen. Hear it for yourself on Ted Talk below!
